#NY Ideas

Today I had the distinct pleasure and honor of attending The Atlantic's NY Ideas/Aspen Ideas conference at the New York Historical Society. It was an inspiring, invigorating and enlightening day filled with important talks ranging from privacy (by razor-sharp science historian and author George Dyson) to women's images in the media (by Joanna Coles, Cosmopolitan magazine's editor-in-chief), to New York art institutions (by Harlem's Studio Museum's Thelma Golden) to the ever-relevant  discussion on the second amendment (by Gabby Giffords and husband Mark Kelly).

This event brought together innovators and thinkers across multiple sectors, all while remaining distinctly New York.  I can't wait to attend next year.
